Narcissism Part 11 - Muscular Jocks's Sexy Self Shot by Smartphone

Who doesn't take pictures of themselves while wearing something sexy every once in a while? The self-portrait has been a popular form of expression ever since man first saw his own reflection. Much like Narcissus, it's often the case that we need not look beyond the tip of our own nose for a muse worth studying. As usual, these posts are best when viewed at work. It's difficult to tell whether these guys love themselves or their smartphones more. Sometimes, they're still kind of goofy because these people haven't learned how to hold the camera at arm's length and take their photo. Instead, they have to shoot into a mirror. I guess they don't want to waste the pixels on any bad shots.

If you love to use mirrors to taking photos of yours, here are my little tips. 1) Clean your mirrors – a little effort makes a huge difference. 2) Learn how to prop up your camera/phone or use a tripod – the mirror shots are played out and look brainless and use adequate lighting. 3) Axe the middle finger – it's not cool, or rebellious, or edgy. It looks cliched, boring, and brainless.

Photos composition is important, It ain't easy sizing yourself up and hoping that, at arm's length, you've fit your face, shoulders and cleavage/pectorals into the frame. Got a mirror handy? Hold your phone out at arm's length in front of the looking glass so you can see how things check out from the other side of the shot. Take some practice pics and soon you'll know exactly how far from your face, how much to the left, and how high you should hold your cellphone to take a photo that makes you look skinny, sexy and totally casual.
